a) export further of its produced material to the US : and;
b) fast track a partnership in the US , to replicate another KMP in the USA ... using its templated South Korean Plant and man power expertise ??
Sounds simple I know ...and it will take time ....( circa two years ) ....but blimey crikey ..if ever a US MAJOR company wants to crank up its positioning manaufacture and participate in the tax incentives on offer , its right here and now !!!
And ASM now also needs to sort out its raw materials "supply "..either from Vietnam or elsewhere .I will also have to look again , where "all the moving parts " in engineering plans etc at Toongi are at ...but suffice to say the Australian/South Korean/ USA /Japanese/ European Govts and private Equity players will have to pull their figures out tout suite ( stop talking about it and action it !) ...or instead or being able to remotely compete on rare earth magnet supply and manufacture , we will be back to pedal power and the manufacture of grease to keep the wheels truning !
Simplistic summary of a complex issue ...but ASM , you have so much to offer , sharpen your pen on Agreements and fine tune your costs ( relook at smaller modular development perhaps , like nuclear has done ) ..and let early 2024 start defining a growth path forward !
