...taking a step back the thing I still cant understand is -
Why cant we get commercial size offtakes for KMP or Dubbo when the whole "fundamentals story" is about lack of REE in the western world, and very little decent REE projects on the horizon to help with this. Our fully permitted DFS ready Dubbo with a working KMP, is one of the best advanced REE projects on the globe, shouldn't that mean we are in the box seat. Maybe 18mths ago timelines under DW were overly optimistic, but now 18 months later we have only managed a few small deals.
I'm not sure if its my lack of understanding the intricacies of this industry, but I don't understand why if we have a massively in demand product (oxides to metals to alloys) why we aren't making some money from KMP and securing some bankable offtakes for Dubbo. Is it the refinement certification for KMP? Is it government involvement for Dubbo? I just don't get it, what am I missing?
Perhaps the answer is just more patience, but Id love to put some confidence with the patience.
