The despondency in these threads (mainly through silence) over the Arafura deal is deafening:

The Commonwealth Government providing over $800 million for the Nolan's project is a massive relief in the present capital environment. How is that not at least a very positive backdrop to the Dubbo/Tongi outlook? Its prospects have just statistically improved in terms of probability from this backdrop.
An explicit level of support given to the Rare Earth's industry from the Federal Gov' and ASM does backwards....
