Having a chairman that owns more than 20% of the company is a double edge sword, he would never let CR to happen where he is not able to contribute enough to keep his ownership percentage. From what I understand, every time there is a CR, ALK share drops because Ian will sell ALK shares to pay for ASM CR.
This also means he usually should disagree with deals where his ownership get diluted substantially, which is mostly the case when you ask for an individual investor to come in and help build the mine.
