Probably a great bloke, but he is a dinosaur and is far too controlling. He also has the image of his successful father to live up to. I get a sense he is struggling with finances as well. In his mind he believes he knows best for ASM and Alkane as he projects a stubborn yet strong self. Unfortunately, he is to blame for where both companies are right now.
Giving up the chair to become an executive director and finding a new far more suitable chair would be a boon for both companies.
