J D Vance and Ukraine - freedom, democracy, the rule of law - more like Dirty Harry and corrupt $ diplomacy..
As it is, this needless trade rivalry will delay conversion to renewables and hamper both our prospects of survival as a a species and Australia's materials based prosperity.
Medium term, we need to develop a Singaporean approach to China - one trading land mass from Hamburg to Harbin - and also learn to samba as it is looking likely that a non-imploding Brazil will dominate the 'new world's' new Americas.
