India is expanding due to education and a higher birthrate than developed countries. Their Caste system is an embarrassment to civilisation though. I was in Singapore recently and was talking to some of the staff around the city, all poor Indians, working for pittance. One chap explained that the lower Castes never get an opportunity to improve themselves,generations of poverty, controlled by the feudal lords. Might as well be back in the dark ages.
