KOTRA Sydney and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Australia are pleased to invite you to the Korea-Australia Green New Deal Webinar and Investment IR to be held on 18 November 2021 in celebration of 60 years of friendship between South Korea and Australia. Established in 1961, the Australia-Korea diplomatic relationship has continued to grow and opened many doors for our cooperation beyond the diplomatic realm.

Our ever-expanding economic relations are one example. Our economies have flourished based on our complementary trade relations where
Australia is a global supplier of natural resources with South Korea being a global manufacturing powerhouse. This reciprocal relationship serves as the bedrock for further cooperation.

In June this year, our leaders met at the G7 summit and reaffirmed their commitment to net zero by 2050. They also recognized synergy effects of working together to build a cleaner, brighter future characterized by the hydrogen economy including hydrogen vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells.

November 2021 is the beginning of this future. At the Korea-Australia Green New Deal Webinar and Investment IR, business leaders from both countries will come together and discuss ways to elevate the Australia-Korea relationship to the next level.
