ASM have held meetings with Washington for years ready as a alternative supply chain. No deals as of yet, not sure what it is going to take for the US to diversify with ASM. Hopefully ASM have the contacts within the DoD to secure offtake supply and metallisation production. If they sign up in the next few months they could have an alternative supply within as little as two years.
