it might be a bit misleading to claim treating burnt coal ash from coal fired power stations will be more environmentally friendly than mining REE

a bit light on details but genius recovery method & always good to try developing recovery process that uses abundant waste products as primary source

I guess the problem is how much longer coal will be burnt for power or used in other industrial processes - maybe until 2100? Sceptical but this technique may have merit & be scalable

the byproducts from treating aluminium red mud sound much more challenging

I don't think ASM or Lynas or Shenghe will need to be too concerned about this for quite some time but who knows
