Interesting article in the Fin Review this morning Page 6 "China's expansion fuels business investment". Although not referring to GDA, its easy to read between the lines as to the effect China will have on our resources sector particularly IO. Quote "Access Economics director David Rumbens said ...the prospect of higher commodity prices in April, with predictions that the cost of coal and iron ore could jump by at least 30%, meant the profitability of producers remained "incredibly strong" fuelling investment despite high and rising labour and material costs" Unquote.
Add to that the article on Page 24. "Inaugural takeover for Chinese miner". Then consider that director GDA has been in a protracted visit in China and reported as still being there.
Interesting market intelligence don't you all think?
