Stuff like that is all a bit pie in the sky, but it's entirely possible that at some point someone will come up with an economically viable biofuel with one of these crazy ideas. I'm always interested in having a look at them, which is why I initially had a look at AEB (before quickly seeing the crazy AEB method had no hope of success but it was an interesting company to watch for other reasons).
Using waste products from agriculture to feed GM yeast sounds a lot more promising than AEB's bizarre method of harvesting sunlight to feed indoor algae. It probably won't come to anything, but it's worth investigating. Hopefully if it's not viable they don't end up burning investors along the way!![]()
