my comment on technical analysis was a general term to explain what i was trying to get across without writing an essay. I agree that everything goes out the window in these times.
The market can continue to plummet and my guess is it will (prob to around 3300) but not now, not this week. We will see some stability and it will then slowly track down to mid 3000 p range IMO.
I think that some punters won't be able to hold back when they see blue chip stocks at 3 year lows. Probably to get bitten in a few weeks but right now i think you will see some buying. Agree that there will be plenty of margin calls still to come.
