It's funny that all you two are exposing and putting down is completely in agreement with most religious, especially Christian, beliefs. Shunning religion and the people that follow their texts based on what you casually see of mainstream and corporate religion is not cool (except in the eyes of Dawkins/Maher and his blind followers), nor intelligent. It doesn't take a religious person to understand that the problems you speak of come from problems within the general public and society today, not the religious texts.
