I believe you are immediately judged.
The parable of lazarus and the rich man says 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So when the begger died angles came and took him immediately as it doesn't reference any time passing between these two events. Same goes for the rich man going to hell immediately.

scripture also provides another option which I know you don't agree with as you are anti catholic. The concept known as purgatory which exists for those that need their spirit purified before going to heaven. Scriptural references include:

    Matthew 12:32
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

So based on this obviously there are certain sins that can be forgiven and others that can't.

The Bible says in revelation 21:27 nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful.

So again there must be a place or time that souls need to go through a process of being cleaned or purified before they can go into heaven.
