    Belief is a personal matter. Religion is not.

    Doesn't it upset you that people can use religion as a base to brainwash kids, vilify women (in the case of some religions), claim tax exemption, scam people for money etc etc etc etc? The range in this list could go from religion being used to incite hatred leading to war, all the way down to Mrs Miggins from Wallaby Way being shunned by her peers for missing a Sunday sermon.

    You said it again, so I will too.. "each to his/her own" does not apply when it affects people outside of the 'own' part of that statement. Religion has public aspects and influences society.
