    To all,
About 2000 yrs ago there was a bloke who lived and said very many good things. He was taken by the authorities at the time, condemned, scourged, nailed to a tree and died. Those who knew him said after that his tomb was empty three days after he died. They said they saw him alive, they touched him, they saw him eat a fish, they saw him disappear. They saw him re-appear. Then he disappeared from the earth, taken up. They then went and told as many people as they could.
Many told them to get lost, it was impossible. But those who experienced it and believed continued to say it.

It is all about what is true, is the story true or not?

In Catholic theology faith in God and in Christ, believing, is not an act of the will but a gift from God. So belief in the Christian religion depends on accepting the gift if one is open to it, it does not depend on your will.

Finally, we cannot live without having faith about our world. Everything we hear or read depends on our having faith and believing what is communicated to us. Even our scientific observations require faith in what observations mean.

Religion and faith are not simple, that is because we are not simple.
