I know atheists reject the record in the Gospels because they are unreliable. However if you have read widely on the Gospels and the Bible in general there is no better ancient book when it comes to reliability. Even Shakespeare cannot match it for reliability. The best evidence is the book of Isiah. A copy was found amongst the dead sea scrolls from 2000 years ago. The contents were virtually the same as the version we have in our modern Bibles. In other words the copyists over the centuries faithfully reproduced it. They did not change it to suite.
