    Q
"Why pray? If it changes God's mind then he is not sovereign. If it does not change God's mind then it is superfluous.

There are so many religions, only one can be right. What makes Christianity right? "

    A

No religions are 'right' at least not one dogmatic religion..Having said that one must understand, or try to understand that the Truth is just that. the Truth, it has always been & always will be & religions have 'borrowed bits of the Truth & put their interpretation on it. Just like I am trying to do because words can not do justice to what is Truth.

Dave is correct when he says that praying is to the inner self which as it happens is a spark(part of) the Divine Mind(God). The old saying goes 'God is everywhere' & so he is, there is life in every atom, there is no dead matter.
That is indeed what true meditation is all about, it slowly teaches the lower mind to 'not be so active' so that it when the mind waves are at 0 mhz (still, zero point) the possiblity of 'crossing over' to the higher mind to be in touch with the Divine/God/Absolute/no time no space dimension is possible but as soon a 'thought', however small interupts transmission 'we' are back in this world. That's what it's all about, in fact that is what the Crucifixion stands for the crossing over to the higher Consciousness, killing off the lower mind.

    Back to the mkt.
