it's really boils down to the question of interpretation.

if you take the meaning literally it might sound quite illogical however if you consider the symbolic nature of the words it becomes quite apparent that the underlying meaning was significantly different to what is commonly believed.

take for example the part where "stars falling on to the earth" or the question of the resurrection- or the Immaculate Conception for that matter.

there is a logical explanation for all of the above which is neither ambiguous nor so far-fetched to the point of total disbelief.
