God loves his creation (which includes humankind) ... but he requires people, whom he made in his own image, to give themselves unconditionally to him so that they will be bound into a relationship of unconditional love with him ... the only condition that needs to be met to avoid going into oblivion upon death is to give oneself unconditionally to him ...
