Here is one of them. God loves people unconditionally, but it they don't meet certain conditions they will be subject to eternal punishment or death.
Let's just say on the the other side of this life, it's perfection itself, this side it is not, and if we haven't got that perfection we just cannot enter into it, these are would be the "certain conditions" you are referring too.
God loves people "unconditionally" that much that he gave himself up on the cross, uniting his perfect nature to our nature in Jesus Christ.
Divine Nature was united with human nature at the resurrection, by uniting ourselves with Jesus we are uniting ourselves with that perfection itself. meriting heaven, or union with God
The rest is, he's given you a choice either to except it or reject it, that simple, if you don't you will go to where he's not , and that would be the opposite to what he is.
