There is intelligence and there is wisdom. The second does not come as a package with the first. There are also eight or more different types of intelligence. One of them is emotional. Thise with high academic intelligence so called may have very low emotional intelligence. They are not correlated. One of the greatest bores I know has 5 PhD's from leading institutions each in a different field. All he is interested in at social functions is the sound of his own voice. He has been divorced twice with neither marriage lasting long. In both cases the wife left him. If you want to stuff your social gathering, invite him...
As for it being more intelligent not to be religious, well, such a person would probably agree immediately if asked that it is foolish to believe in something for which there is no evidence of any kind? Surely. This is where even the angels laugh, the Bible says. Why? Because these jackasses can provide no proof of any kind that God does NOT exist! (Nor could there ever be such proof you cannot prove a negative) Hoist by their own petard, strung up on their own rope...as the old saying goes. Intelligent then? I dont think so. When I hear people claiming their non religious views are more intelligent, they are self deluding. Defining their own reality.
The proofs FOR God as in the scripture are serial and staggering, but if you dont seek you will never find. Too amazing for many..casting pearls before swine... but just to get your juices going: We know that there is a finite quantity of energy in the universe. The universe is expanding from a central point. All matter in the universe was once contained in a sphere the size of a golf ball. Or was it a pin head? It came into existence in a nanosecond, about 13.7 billion years ago. All this is astrophysics and quantum theory etc. In the textbooks. All matter is energy.
This description of the beginning of the Universe is in Genesis 1 and was there multiple thousands of years before anyone had even come up with the word science.
Ok where did it come from? Did it make itself? But thats outside the scope of science. OK. If thats how the adherents of science falsely so called, want to limit themselves.
But how much more "intelligent"is it than the tribes in Papua New Guinea who believed that there was nothing at all beyond the high ridges that surrounded the area they inhabited? Just because people refuse to look somewhere doesnt therefore mean that there is nothing there...its just your own blinkers applied here.
If only you knew the truth. It is too much in one hit. You would probably just about flake from the shock. It is very real and so powerful it is terrifying.
Please excuse me if I seem a bit like ahead kicker. I was as a young fellow. I got sick of bullies and was smaller and younger so secretly trained and built myself up till I could lay out any bully with just about one punch. Now I found that was ...fun. Now I like going the so called intellectual or academic pretenders. Like all bullies they are cowards underneath it all, almost invariably. I liked laughing in their faces. That unnerved them. But not as much as when I shaped up. Because if they knew anything at all they can see I knew how to fight, with skill they did not possess. Even now as an old guy.
Here I am not fighting for myself, but to help others wake up to the truth for their own good, not only on this earth, but more importantly beyond the grave. It isnt too far off in your future folks. Better you get it right. Might never get the chance again. Its your life. Stuff the stupid mob, the mockers. Like a dog, they return to their own vomit.
