It gets on my wick that religous institutions which are some of the richest and most corrupt institutions in the world get exempt from paying tax, not to mention funding. This is an ancient practice which should be abolished. We all know about the scandals and their well known behaviour of "sweeping it under the carpet" whenever their image is threatened by their transgressions. I say tax them just like the rest of us have no choice.
