Can't agree more MTE, Family is what its all about. I have had too many family and friends struck with cancer in the last 15 years. On a up note, ALL that made it past the first 12mts are doing OK - Good luck with everything in your family's case.

Yes cash is an enabler to family wellbeing. My 3 most recent mates [adult children], all took differing outlooks. One squirreled everything away, to ensure the family was set up in case of the worst. The other sold everything [apart from a LT property development too hard to unwind] and sought the best medical intervention possible, to enjoy the family for as long as possible. The other took it in her stride, downsized, and now they travel frequently [with family along], go out, and party - enjoying the now.

My post was my pragmatic view of it all - nonetheless both a sound and timely re-listing would clearly be the most beneficial to all.
