You (as the owner then) invited me but know that there is potentially a new hostile owner who dislikes me (or you and everything associated with you) is in the wings.
Now you are no longer the owner and the new guy has taken over. HE is the one who locks the door and beats me up.
No different from Vic Libs before the last election signing off the East West Link knowing Labor would tear up the contract. In the end, Labor came in and Daniel Andrews did tear up the contract and the Victorian people had to fork out $800m to compensate for the cancellation.
