Just because Hazer are not yet ready to participate in Primetals dispruption of the steel industry does not mean the deal is dead.

Obviously Primetals were well advanced in their development of the reduction technology before they signed the MOU.

    Picture this scenario:

The Hazer and WaterCorp Commercial Development plant turns out to be a raging success using biomethane
    as feedstock.

In doing that, they have also proven they could achieve the same result using natural gas as the feedstock.

This then makes it possible for Hazer and whoever wants to partner with them, to have processing plants (big and small) wherever there is feedstock available. Which is pretty much everywhere.

I think the prospect of producing steel using bio-waste in the process is such a prize Primetals would find it irresistible.

So would China, India, USA and the rest of the world.

Someone might be able to confirm this, the use of hydrogen for steel making is not just restricted for use as a reductant. Can it not also be used to heat the furnaces?
