re: unx GDM have been around for a long time. They concentrated on SAust until the late 90's and then started looking at Tanzania. They still retain some good exploration ground in SA in the Mount Woods Inlier. This area hosts the Oxiana, Prominent Hill Cu-Au deposit while GDM is looking at a magnetite-copper prospect to the north west.
The main focus is in Tanzania. They are chasing platinum and have a deal with Lonmin. Results have been "encouraging" to date and maybe something will come up. Other ground at Nachingwea still in Tanzania is being pushed as a nickel discovery. Like many small explorers every sample or interesting drilling result is always the next big thing.
GDM is frustrating. They seem to have the fundamentals in place when it comes to aquiring the right patch off dirt but then seem reluctant to get in there, see what they have and move on. I am hanging in there for the moment to see whether the early stage uranium exploration reveals something that attracts attentions from the bigger guys. One more season looking for the platinum reefs and then I am gone.
