It is being rolled out throughout the pubic/emergency/health services. In fact not an hour ago a colleague informed me that Paramedics in Qld have until the end of this month to have received at least one vaccination or be put on administrative duties (where available) with no patient contact until they received one.The alternative for them is most likely enforced leave, pending a new career choice if still no vaccination when their leave is exhausted. It seems that it’s not going to be such an issue for them anyway, as vertually all their 5000 staff have received at least one dose. I believe police, fire and customs, etc have their own processes underway too. As I understand it, the strategy is moving from support and encouragement to enforcement. It won’t be long before the mandate thankfully becomes more widespread.
