My grandfather contracted polio as a small child on the boat over from the UK and battled his entire life with the effects of the disease - he also spent a large portion of his free time (that he had whilst raising 4 kids and running a busy service station) raising money for the Rotary Club so that people that didn't have access to vaccinations in poor countries could get access to it. He'd be shaking his head in disbelief at the anti-vax carry-on in today's world about "freedom" and "rights".
