Yes, I agree with everything you say. In the worst times in Italy, they were having to decide on which patients would most likely have better outcomes, and treat them first. Unfortunately, a lot of people died with the hospitals being overwhelmed, doctors dying, and staffing issues. It was a very, very sad time.
I still don't believe that the Australian governent has done everything in their means. We have 1.5 years of experience of this event, but speaking to people within the health industry, there is still a lack of funding and staffing issues that have not been addressed.
We can only hope that things don't go badly from here. I think we could both agree that we are about to enter a critical point. Hope for the best.
