As I saw it, DSH didn't have a future, so my posts, based on my observations, were negative. Many on here, such as yourself, were of a positive opinion, believing that the position could only improve. Well I don't need to remind you whose predictions were correct.
As for selling old stock back to suppliers, that's just fanciful. They are under no obligation to take it back and if DSH haven't been able to move even brand name products in their 20 - 60% clearance sale then there's every likelihood that the stock would be shop soiled and or superseded/obsolescent. Suppliers aren't a charity to ensure that the banks receive the greatest return possible in the event of a liquidation. And believe me it's the banks that would take advantage of any such largesse by the suppliers. The shareholders would get nothing.
