centro2008 - CNP do not need to repay all their debt !
The banks have indicated they are willing to refinance the loans if they can lower their gearing. Most companies borrow and are geared, some more than CNP ( about 70% ).
So they only need to sell some assets to lower their gearing perhaps to 50% ( not unusual for an ASX listed company )
not all $4B, and then the banks should refinance their loans.
That's what Rufrano has indicated.
