Interesting responses to this "humour", IMO.

At the time of the Danish cartoons this joke would not have been permitted (5 or so years ago?), I think. Now it is.

Yet a funny IMO, but possibly unsavoury, joke about crabs and dead people has been expunged.

I am in favour of these "observations" for the reason given:

"The sooner we are all on the same level the better."

Jokes are often about steroetypes, and the humour mostly depends upon a recognition of the truth behind the stereotype.

I think that is the case here.
