I seem to recall, as one who has been a voice crying in the wilderness for an extended period of time, advising on at least one occasion previously, to remember the Gilded Rose.
I suggest a little research into this small operation on the other side of Cloncurry, it's ownership, its management and its misfortunes and financial mischievings, will go a long way to explain my long term cynicism of the bunch from the Brickworks.
I have oft been lambasted by fellow posters on this forum regarding my cynicism of the wonderful prospects of the Cloncurry area. I have worked extensively in the area and am a great believer in it's long term future. I am, however, very wary of some of its charlatans.
