No doubt the CFO still has great confidence in the future of NEA. And a big thank-you again to Kfann for trawling through the public announcements to uncover the fact that it was the CFO who exercised these options at the money.
I had suspected (hoped) that there were big US sales already in the pipeline that he knew about, but after the recent announcements this seems not to be the case.
I'm still confident about NEA's longer term prospects, but what I'm now wondering is whether what I took to be the CFO betting on a sure thing was actually more of a speculative punt. Could he be a billionaire who considers $795k only play-money??!! Or could there be other US metrics not yet released to the public which give him such confidence?
