It is a FACT that Biomira turned its back on global rights to CVac.
This means prima facie that Biomira did not think it was likely to generate an economic return.
This does not mean that CVac is bad technology or indeed that it will not achieve commercial success.
After all the patents that underpin Resmed were similarly discarded by a major US company. They simply didn't think that there was a commercial business opportunity in CPAP. How wrong were they!
CVac could yet be another "Resmed" in this regard.
But it remains a FACT that Biomira did not take up rights to which they were entitled.
