Mate I will try to get an expert opinion on the Jorc changes. I can only see wording changes but nothing specific that I can find indicating additional drilling requirements i.e. if 2004 Jorc is still compliant or not in that regard.

For now a few of my very old postings to mull over....no matter what has happened the ore is still there. It remains to be seen what happens with it. I sincerely hope this al works out positive for holders no matter what eventuates.

"Laura River Copper-Zinc-Lead-Gold (VMS)
The Laura River project is adjacent to the Koongie Park and Emull copper-zinc-lead-gold deposits, which represent the two largest VMS resources in the region.
The VMS potential of the project was substantially upgraded following recent government research that reassigned approximately 60% of the rocks within the project area to the VMS-prospective Koongie Park Formation.

Exploration by Navigator has since recognised a likely VMS style of mineralisation at the Dim Whiddy Prospect, and has also identified strongly anomalous multi-element (Cu-Pb-Zn-Ba) stream anomalies in the north eastern portion of the project. Based on aeromagnetic data, these anomalies may represent the strike extensions of the same sequence that hosts the Koongie Park VMS deposits."

Perspective: VMS can be both a negative and positive.

Thankfully the Koongie Park formation is now a positive, although not without difficulty.

It took the wizardry of Kwan Wong and consultant metallurgist Peter Lewis at Optimet Laboratories to solve the potential surfical oxidisation problem in the recovery process. You might say this is a "key aspect" requirement for the success of KP.

He was referred to by one of the best metallurgists in WA as "the best there is" and " If Kwan can't make it (Koongie Park) work then it probably can't be done"

Suffice to say Kwan made "it work" and then some...

"Kwan Wong is a post-graduate of the University of Melbourne in primary Metallurgy and mineral processing. During his is a post-graduate of the University of Melbourne in primary Metallurgy and mineral processing. During his career of over 40 years as a processing metallurgist, Kwan has worked in CSIRO, Mt Gunson Mines and Amdel. In 1989 he was the Managing Director of Optimet Laboratories which he established in partnership with two other metallurgists. Following the acquisition of Optimet Laboratories by AMMTEC Ltd, Kwan is presently working as a consulting metallurgist. Kwan has extensive experience in flotation treatment of complex sulphide ores and with research, development and plant implementation of Controlled Potential Sulphidisation (CPS) flotation of mixed, oxidised, oxide and supergene base metal sulphide ore. Kwan's consulting activities over the past years have included review/evaluation of flotation testwork and plant performance, plant commissioning and trouble-shooting, and metallurgist/operator training. He has also acted as a specialist speaker in flotation workshops and as an expert witness in legal proceedings. In more recent years Kwan's interest and experience in flotation treatment has extended to non-metallic and industrial minerals due to increased activities in this area of mineral processing in Australia and overseas."
