Manganese bulk sample approved
Tuart Resources Ltd has received approval from the West Australian Department of Minerals and Energy to take a 20,000t bulk sample of manganese from its Horseshoe South tenement, 140km NNW of Meekatharra in the Glengarry Basin.
The bulk sample will be shipped to Considar Pte Ltd of Singapore, a trader and marketer of minerals and alloys used in the production of steel. Considar is a subsidiary within the trading arm of the Luxembourg Arbed Group, specialising in the trading of ores, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It has a consolidated turnover of US$500m, with offices including the UK, Brussels, USA, China, India and the Far East.
The Considar (Arbed) Group will visit the Horseshoe South site later this month with the aim of structuring a longer term relationship with Tuart Resources.
