I find it amazing that gold in $US falls and all gold stocks drop.
But most gold companies in Australia base their costs on $AUD and selling price on gold at $AUD.
The price this morning dropped to $US1,256.68 from $US1278.41 yesterday, a fall of $US22.
But in $AUD the fall was from $AUD1,745.51 to $AUD1,738.39 a drop of $AUD7.12.
Still well above $AUD1,700.00 with cost of $AUD1,000.00 equals $AUD700.00 margin per ounce.
Average price of gold for month of May $AUD1,727.
This is higher price used in feasibility study.
