Remember uranium?

It ran from a few dollars a pound to about US$150.

Uranium stocks listed on the ASX were initially as scarce as hen's teeth. Emerging uranium producer PDN ran from under one cent to over $10.00 with a market cap of billions of dollars. It didn't take too long for PDN, thanks to an aggressive drilling campaign, to prove up much, much more uranium than most believed it had.

Like uranium, silver was only a few dollars. Similarly with the silver price languishing for years there were very few silver stocks listed on the ASX.

There hasn't been much exploration in AYN's substantial leases. Who was going to waste their money exploring for silver when it was just a few dollars an ounce?

We're now waiting on a resource upgrade from AYN which should be interesting considering the excellent drilling results since the last resource upgrade early last year plus the substantial increase in the silver price since then.

We are now in a situation where we might dine on an AYN Silver banquet over the next 12 months or so based on the following ingredients in the recipe:

1. A scarcity of ASX listed silver stocks.

2. Successful, low cost, profitable silver production.

3. A soaring silver price.

4. AYN making use of millions of dollars of cash flow to put in place a much expanded, aggressive and exciting drilling exploration campaign imo.

5. Substantial new silver resources and possibly base metal eg. copper proven up imo. Why not, considering the very prospective nature of AYN's ground and some of the drilling results announced to the ASX in the last 12 months.

What our recipe now has are all the ingredients for an AYN Silver banquet.

In precious metals bull markets some stocks do rise from humble beginnings more than 100 times in price. Will AYN be one?
