    chrysalis i'm not suggesting you are giving it as an excuse for this kind of behaviour but i am so sick of people getting lenient sentences because they are on drugs. so what. you chose to do the drugs so own it. you then killed someone whether intentionally or not. own that too.
    off topic but similar i saw a sign over the mitchell freeway in perth heading north which said "please don't drink and drive. double demerits". like the incentive for not drink driving is that you don't want to get any demerits recorded against you. imo the sign should have read "please don't drink and drive you might kill someone". far more effective. and i'd get rid of the please as well.
