I was in Shanghai last two weeks and I have to say one or two models of EV developed by Chinese auto makers looked quite good, particularly one SUV. It is very obvious that EVs are all around the city and growing in number. It is cheaper and license plate costs nothing while patrol car licence costs 18000 AUD and have to wait for lucky draw to get it. Now we know why EV is booming in China.
