Reminder Tuesday 5 June due date for retention forms.

Obviously get your own financial advice but for those who wish to continue holding Atlas Iron and be part of the critical vote coming up shortly, you will need to ensure the “notice of retention” form is in receipt by Atlas Iron by this coming Tuesday.

As we have learnt in the Royal Commission, irrespective of whether you are a small or a big fish, everyone must be treated respectfully and not taken advantage of.

All 16,944 shareholders that were sent the notice of retention form late last month do have the power to a) keep your shares and b) fight for a better offer.

While some may refer to you as a grumbler and recalcitrant which is completely unacceptable, all you would be doing is lawfully pursuing a fair and reasonable offer for your company.

Atlas advised the unmarketable sale process will be completed by 30th June 2018 yet it says in the Chairman's letter that the independent report along with the scheme booklet will be sent out in June.
Therefore, this contradicts the main objective of the minority shareholding sale to save costs if the booklet is to sent out in June anyway.
