PIL is working on funds remmitted into the Philippines to people with no Bank Account.
No comparison really.
PIL have made very good progress wading through the buaraucracy to get to where they are.
I'd say their biggest competitor is Western Union.
Their big point of difference is they use agents witha mobile phone, rather that a shop front.
The barrier to entry for the small business owner is much smaller.
Judging by the facebook page.. the are still working on tech issues.
That will probably be the case for a while yet....
But they are making progress.. and will get there!
