I hope that SOO has sorted its staffing problems mentioned in relation to the BHP Newman mine remote power station commissioning.

This announcement from ARENA would be a great help to any capable company operating in the off-grid and micro-grid power sector. The commercial scale grid-connected sector in Oz finally seems to be getting a go on with more and more shops having 10.x kW scale systems on their roofs.

With some luck SOO will still be able to be competitive in this sector, an ARENA project would be great advertising. On that, an update to the Solco web pages showing some more recent projects would be good. The foreign aid clean water project is a noble thing but is quite an old project.

(never though I would see the day that CBD share price was substantially less than SOO's, apparently because CBD cannot get their merger with Westinghouse over the line and through it an entre to one of the largest commercial scale market sectors in the world)
