DM and the BUD directors and management team have yet to demonstrate any evidence they understand this metric and its importance to the future of the company.
When BUD reports $40m revenue for a period with $4m EBIT then I will be the first to admit they know what they are doing and celebrate their success. Until they deliver positive EBIT and FCF the jury is still out deciding what should happen to those responsible for decision making at BUD.
It takes skill to right size a business in order to realise its potential while at the same time managing within the financial constraints that are invariably placed on a business which in theory is compounding revenues month on month. The next few months should be very revealing.
