this is incorrect & unsound reasoning. 'stereotyping' is certainly not the ability to 'discriminate'.

the term 'discriminate' infers 'discernment' (wisdom) where as 'stereotyping' is generalising

one that can discriminate accurately sees there are degrees of ethical goodness & badness in every race
