divorce is one of the most common reasons for a forced sale...with parners sparring and hating each other....and it can be a spiteful sale....with the buyer as a winner....
I saw a house last year...a divorce sale go for 30% less than comparable properties.....unbelievable bargain...
same place was up for sale years earlier...they were about to divorce then...I offered to buy at their price....but they backed out at the last minute ...I would have bought it 2nd time around , but I had too much other stuff going on
just been advised an elderly client died....but her Toorak pad will be sought after...6th floor with views over the city...
