good question..
I trade with Nabtrade. I have both a local account and an international trading account with Nabtrade. As is the norm, i am locked into whatever exchange at the time of the trade. I deposit AUD dollars into the international account, and the international transactions are automatically converted into USD on the days exchange rate, inclusive of brokerage.
I am hoping that when the time is right, i will submit a request to Nabtrade to transfer my ASX RLT holdings into my international account. I assume there will be an automatic conversion ratio, for example, 5 RLT.ASX = 1 USD RLTUS share...just guessing.. i assume this may still incur brokerage fees as the HIN account numbers are different..
